Coronavirus (COVID-19): A Blue Collar View

Coronavirus (COVID-19) and a Blue Collar View

I went to plenty of places to research the COVID-19. I want to list some things I thought of.

The most important place to read is probably at www.CDC.gov.

  1. Alcohol in “hand sanitizers” dries out skin and often causes cracks.
  2. Frequent 20 second hand washing often dries and causes cracks.
  3. Open wounds (skin cracks) are probably more dangerous than “touching your face”.
  4. Keeping hands and surfaces clean remains important.
  5. Gloves are probably important.
  6. “New-skin” liquid bandage and other protection seem important.
  7. I plan to consider C-19 just as contagious as the Measles.
  8. We control our fate if we focus on details.

Always do your own research and check with your local Doctor.

It seems that this virus can live for two days on surfaces. We need to watch for cuts and cracks in our skin. The whole picture is important. Oversimplification and entertaining marketing can be deadly. Droplets in the air and on surfaces are to be avoided. If we make proper use of our brain; our skin and our behavior can protect us.

Properly installed and maintained drain, waste and vent (DWV) pipes provide protection from contamination if the water in the traps is maintained.  Flying and crawling insects live in sewers. Dangerous mold also lives in sewers. To keep water in traps, use each plumbing fixture at least once every two weeks.
