Cooped Up During COVID-19: Avoid Cabin Fever

Learn to Communicate Better and Avoid Cabin Fever

As we are cooped up, we need to make the best use of our time. If we learn to improve our communication skills, we can avoid cabin fever.

The more we get people to think like we do the better. The more we realize the importance of carefully chosen words, the better we can get along. With proper training, suggestions can be presented in ways that can influence while not aggravating.

One of the most important books was created by Dale Carnegie in 1936.  His text book can dramatically increase your listeners, readers and believers. If you want people to pay attention, you must sell them your way of thinking. To “Win Friends and Influence People” you should read Carnegie’s book.

As I do research, I try to find the best of the best teachers.  Obviously, I am still learning. I am still trying to find ways to get people to use the correct toilet plungertoilet snake and other things.   Forty seven years of plumbing experience is wasted if I can’t get people to place the proper amount of value on my plumbing advice. Dale Carnegie was one of the best teachers and we are lucky to have his book available.

As I continue to study How to Win Friends and Influence People, I hope others will do the same.

Communication skills are especially important during the COVID-19 isolation in 2020. People can avoid cabin fever and get along better as they learn new communication skills.
